Baby boy hat

Materials :

Worsted weight yarn,
3.5 mm crochet hook,
Scissor.

Size :

Neoborn.

Abbreviations :

Ch _ chain
Sc _ single crochet
Sl st _ slip stitch
Hdc _ half double crochet
Fpdc _ front posterior double crochet
bpdc _ back posterior dc Pattern

Pattern :

Using white yarn make a magic ring,

Round 1 : ch2, 7 hdc in the ring, join with sl st.

Round 2 : ch2, 2 hdc in each stitch around, join with sl st.

Change to blue color

Round 3: Ch 2, "hdc in the 1st st, 2 hdc in the next stitch", repeat till the end, join with sl st. 

Round 4: ch 2,  ( hdc in the next 2 st, 2 hdc in the next stitch ), repeat all around, join with sl st.

Change to white color

Round 5: ch 2, ( hdc in the next 3 stitches, 2 hdc in the next stitch ) repeat,join with sl st.

Round 6 : ch 2, ( hdc in the next 4 stitches, 2 hdc in the next stitch ) repeat, join with sl st.

Round 7 : hdc in each st around, join with sl st.

Change to blue yarn

Round 8, 9: as round 7.

Change to white yarn

Round 10 - 12: as round 7.

Change to blue yarn

Round 11: as round 7.

Change to white yarn

Round 12 - 17: ch 3,  (fpdc, bpdc)repeat till the end, join with sl st.

Fast off, weave in ends.
